Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging

This is a comprehensive collation of  well written and referenced chapters written by experts. There is an accompanying DVD which includes dynamic images that  I look forward to using.

The book covers the major clinical areas and explores areas of future clinical utility such as MR spectroscopy (e.g. assessment of myocardial energetics in cardiomyopathies), MR to assess arterial elasticity and interventional MRI. The beginning of the book covers principles of MR imaging in a clear manner.

The book is well written. However, it is not a self learning book for cardiac MRI.
