Newton, complex polynomials and beautiful images
The Invitation to Mathematics prompted me to start exploring the Newton’s method for complex polynomials. There is a useful entry in Mathworld. There is a notebook that can be downloaded. I used insights from the entry and notebook to create an embedded CDF in this post.
Some of the images are beautiful to my eye, as well as instructive. I hope to explore further in future posts.
